I agree completely with my Congressman, Andy Kim NJ-3. “Millions More Tests Needed” (Inquirer 4/21/20) If we all want to reopen businesses ASAP it would make more sense to test everyone who wants to go out in public and go to work.

Only testing those who already have symptoms is pointless. Those people should just be self-quarantining at home unless their breathing gets labored and they need to be hospitalized. Those without symptoms need testing so that they can be cleared as not carrying and shedding the virus without symptoms.

The government is assuring us that everyone who needs a test (because they are sick) can get one, but that level of testing doesn’t tell us who is safe to be out in public.
