A letter to the editor by Barbara Blonsky of Mount Laurel, NJ

Dear Editor,

My Congressman Tom MacArthur, was silent while the Democrats experienced hacking of their computer systems by the Russians.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, was complicit when allowing people unqualified for positions to be voted to cabinet positions.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, was complicit while people now indicted for colluding with the Russians were appointed to high ranking White House positions.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, remains silent while Scott Pruitt flaunts all rules of ethics and propriety.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, was complicit when the Republicans in congress tried to gut healthcare protections for 23 million people.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, was complicit when a tax law was passed which gives 83% of the benefits to he top 10% of earners while creating a $1.7 trillion deficit.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, was complicit while 36,000 people a year are murdered by senseless gun violence.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, remains silent and complicit while families legally seeking asylum are ripped apart and children are placed in detention centers.

My Congressman, Tom MacArthur, supports every policy of the current administration and has rarely, if ever, listened to the pleas of the constituents of CD3. His silence on issues of importance has gone beyond differences of policy, it now indicates a total abrogation of moral principles. He does not represent us. He does not protect us.

Thankfully, on November 6, 2018, the Citizens of CD3 can create change and send a man with courage and principles to the House. Vote for change in November. Vote for Andy Kim.
