OPINION: The agreed-upon Sanctions against Russia must be implemented *NOW*

I am beyond outraged that my representative, Tom MacArthur, has yet to make a formal statement with regard to the recent indictment handed down by the Special Prosecutor implicating Russian operatives in meddling in our elections.

This is not fake news and those sanctions against Russia that were voted on by both Houses of Congress and not implemented by the president should be carried out immediately!

Representative MacArthur needs to get behind our country. Why won’t this administration acknowledge the Russian interference? I am so fearful that the US will be under the thumb of Russia or another non democratic leader if our representatives don’t start acknowledging that we have been attacked!

Nothing is being done to assure our upcoming elections will be safe. I am wondering if that’s why current representatives in congress are remaining silent? Are they counting on Russian interference to make sure they are reelected? I ask that question not to disparage them but I think it’s a fair question to be asked since all representatives are up for election in 2018 and continue to remain silent.

Those agreed-upon sanctions need to be implemented now!!!
