Update: MHMUA is “confirming all customer meter sizes” by encouraging customers to contact them “if the meter sizes are not the same”

According to the new special notice on all sewer bills, the MHMUA appears to be placing the onus for water meter corrections onto the consumer. They are “confirming” all meter sizes, by encouraging customers to contact the MUA “if the meter sizes are not the same.” This is an update from our previous story.

Full text of the notice:

Special Notice: The Mount Holly Municipal Utilities Authority (MHMUA) is confirming all customer meter sizes to those reported by New Jersey American Water (NJAW). Please compare the meter size listed on the MHMUA bill to that of your NJAW bill. The meter sizes should be the same on both bills. If the meter sizes are not the same on both bills, please contact us at 609-267-0015 or info@mhmua.com
